About Kevin

Kevin is Assistant Professor, Teaching, Global Supply Chain Management in the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. He is Director for Entrepreneurship and Innovation programs at MISB, host of the annual Healthcare Supply Chain Forum, faculty lead for study abroad in Netherlands, Germany and Poland, and faculty lead for the General Motors - Wayne State University Supply Chain Management Case Study Competition.

For nine years, Kevin served as the CEO of KMED LLC. KMED Inventory offered health care inventory management services to hospitals and pharmacies nationally. KMED Research was a clinical research site management organization that operated clinical trials in SE Michigan on behalf of many global pharmaceutical companies. KMED Marketing offered marketing services to healthcare organizations nationally. 

Kevin has more than twenty-five years of corporate marketing management, consulting and agency experience at companies including Dell Financial Services in Round Rock, Texas, and State Street Corp. in Boston, Massachusetts. Kevin was President of Kyrris Marketing, a strategic marketing and communications agency in midtown Detroit. Kyrris offered strategic planning, research, creative, digital marketing, advertising, public relations and program management services. 

Kevin is a board member for MAHRMM (Michigan Association of Healthcare Resource and Materials Management), elected in January 2022.

Kevin was twice elected in competitive elections to the Grosse Pointe Woods City Council and served as chairman of the Mack Avenue Business Study Committee.

Kevin has a B.A. in Journalism with an additional major in Psychology from Michigan State University and a M.S. in Mass Communication from Boston University.
